Remarks

Valid values are > 0 or NoTimeout (-1) to disable the deadline entirely. 0 is not a synonym for "unlimited": it resolves to a deadline of UtcNow + 0s, i.e. one that has already expired, which fails every call with DeadlineExceeded. The SDK client therefore rejects 0 and negative values other than NoTimeout with an ArgumentOutOfRangeException.
